Drive Time - The Rock Chick
Fast becoming one of The UK 's flagship Blues Programmes.
I was lucky enough to be exposed to great music at a very early age and it has been my passion ever since.
My Tastes are hugely Eclectic taking in Dub Reggae,Electronica Punk ,Jazz .
And that’s the approach I take to my show , I like to challenge the concept of blues as waking up in the morning and finding your woman gone or standing at the crossroads making deal.
My show takes in traditional Blues music from the Mississippi Delta alongside the Classic 60’s and 70’s British R&B and Blues Boom

Amanda is by definition a 'Rock Chick' however at the age of 43 she disputes the 'chick' part. By day Amanda is a mild mannered Teacher/academic and self confessed nerd, when she is not messing up on the radio or working she can be found listening to podcasts, watching SciFi/ superhero tv shows/movies or chasing Pokemon around Blackpool. She is also a social media addict and you can find her on Twitter @MetalMand if you want to discuss music or talk nerdy with her.

Thursday afternoons..............come and join Warren on Thursday afternoon where he takes you deep underground on a variety of twists and turns, delving into music from a wide selection of artists, from old skool classics, indie, alternative, and pop from the 1960's to the present day. Where each show will take us we do not know, but that is the fun of the Thursday afternoon, playing some great music and requesting the local community to join in and make the show an intricate feel of sharing some great tunes.
